What It’s Like To Work With Me

I work with my clients individually, in one-on-one sessions. This allows me to get to know you as an individual, so that I can customize my coaching to better address your specific situation and to help you achieve your personal goals. We will meet virtually via Zoom, so I can work with you no matter where you live.

We’ll meet for an hour each time. I’ll open every single session by asking you to share with me about the “wins” that you’ve had since we last met. This is intentional, as it starts off our sessions in a positive and motivating way. Knowing that success begets success, I want to help you see how far you’ve already come.

Next, we’ll talk about the challenges you’ve had since our last session and spend some time brainstorming together about how to overcome those challenges moving forward. We’ll have great discussions and I promise that we’ll always share a few laughs along the way.

We’ll spend a lot of time in education about the specifics of eating plant-based, discussing lots of ways to make this lifestyle easier and more delicious for you. We can also cook “together” virtually, if that’s something you’d find helpful. I will always customize our time together to best meet your needs so that you can achieve your wellness goals.

After our session, I’ll always send you a summary of all that we have discussed. I’ll share links to recipes, resources, and handouts, so that your learning can continue well beyond our time together.

I typically recommend that we work together for 3-6 months. But again, this varies depending on the specifics of your situation. While lifestyle change is an extremely worthwhile endeavor, it’s not easy. I like to stay by your side for a period of time, to better ensure your success in achieving the wellness goals that you want to achieve. We will tackle new situations and problem-solve together as challenges come up.

From our initial consult call through your “graduation” day, I will be here to support you every step of the way. I’ve got you!

Your first step is to book a consult call.

During this conversation, I’ll invite you to share your story and your goals for wellness. I want to hear all about your health concerns, your lifestyle, and any questions you may have about shifting to a plant-based diet. Of course, I want to hear about any hurdles that are standing in your way of making the shift to a plant-based diet, so that we can start problem-solving for those hurdles right during our very first conversation!

I’ll also share a bit more about what it’s like to work with me, and answer any questions you have about about my health coaching practice or working together.

There is absolutely no charge and no commitment for that first conversation — it’s simply a chance to talk! If you are interested in working together by the end of our conversation, I’ll share some next steps with you. If you decide this isn't the right time for you, we will have had the chance to get to know each other a bit better and we will leave as friends.
